Job Title: Alarm Systems Technician (Commercial)

Project Types: Commercial, Office Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Mixed-Use, Retail, Tenant Improvements, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service integrated systems such as Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video.
• Installing hardware devices like readers, electric locking hardware, exit devices, power supplies, and wiring.
• Configuring IP networks for video surveillance and access control systems.
• Maintaining certifications for camera and access control systems.
• Deploy basic to advanced network devices as needed.
• Efficiently schedule and route commercial service jobs.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire detection and signaling systems (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control).
• Preferred: State licensing.
• Preferred: ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent.
• Preferred: NICET Fire or Video Level 2.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various individuals in a professional manner to deliver superior customer service.
• Proficiency in software and programming for primary manufacturers used by the branch.
• Ability to design integrated systems in compliance with local jurisdiction requirements.
